LEWISBURG, PA - On October 12, the historic Campus Theatre will host the hometown premiere of Human Resources, a supernatural thriller that was shot in Northeast Pennsylvania and features many local talents in front of and behind the camera. The screening will be attended by cast and crew, followed by a blooper reel, and will include “Halloween surprises.”

Human Resources was written and produced by the sibling filmmaker team of Keil and Aaron Troisi, who grew up in Millville and spent the their teenage years making movies on VHS with friends and family. The cast features many local actors, including James Goode, Elizabeth Dowd, and Andrew Hubatsek of the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. Another Bloomsburg native, Gabe DiDomenico, co-produced the film and designed the extensive physical effects, which were all handmade by casting actors’ faces to create the unique look of the ghosts.

The story follows a woman who lands a new job only to discover that the skyscraper she works in is haunted by victims of a corporation’s exploitative business practices. Unable to ignore injustices embodied by the disembodied, she sets out to reveal the truth and stop the company before they kill again.

Tickets to this red-carpet gala will be available at the door for $9 (or $6 for students, seniors, and veterans). Due to bloody content and language, parental guidance is advised. The filmmakers are available for press throughout September – please contact Keil Troisi at the phone number or email address above.
